Ceram subsidiary CSMA has launched Validata, a cleanliness and surface modification validation package.

Ceram subsidiary CSMA has launched Validata, a cleanliness and surface modification validation package.

Achieving and maintaining surface cleanliness is an issue that affects numerous sectors, from medical and pharmaceutical, to electrical component manufacturers.

The package has a cleanliness index to quantify product and process changes, troubleshooting facilities to help pinpoint and solve cleanliness issues and test coupons, either off the shelf or bespoke.

The package also lets companies and organisations receive official cleanliness validation and certification from CSMA for their products or cleaning processes.

Shaun Bainbridge, CSMA Business Development Manager, said: "This service will enable our customers to monitor cleanliness, assess surface functionality and quantify oxide build up with the relevant certification".
