Licence-free radio telemetry instruments allow remote strain-gauge-based sensors to be monitored without the need for expensive cabling.
Straightforward reliable temperature controller
The EC4-173 single-channel PID thermoregulator accepts both Type K and J thermocouple inputs, has an output to drive a solid-state relay, and operates from a nominal 230V AC supply.
Two independent analogue outputs, current and DC voltage, are provided as standard, and dedicated voltage, current and pulse outputs may be added.
Alarm relays and drivers may be added, and serial and current loop communications are available.
Additionally, especially configured versions are available for controlling common weighing operations such as fast-fill-by-weight, loss-in-weight, and batch filling.
A choice of mains or DC power supplies is available, as is a DIN-rail mounting adapter and a gasket for sealing to IP65.
An optional interface unit, the IF25, will allow up to 25 ADP15 instruments fitted with the appropriate interface to be connected to a single serial port on a PC or PLC.
According to Celsum's Managing Director, Roy Carter: "The ADP15 series offers excellent value for money in a reliable, compact format".
"The wide range of combinations available - 857,088 - allows users to employ the ADP15 for a plethora of different tasks, yet have a common connection layout and, where required, common software protocols".
"Also, of course, the user's control panel will have a co-ordinated appearance".
The ADP15 range is complementary to Celsum Technologies' range of strain gauge conditioning amplifiers, capillary extrusion rheometers, the T2SR time and temperature scanning rheometer, CTPT two-point concrete workability test, dataloggers, precision extrusion dies, subminiature pressure transducers and load cells, temperature and process controllers, and other equipment for OEM, development, plant and laboratory use.
