A Celsum Technologies product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Sep 16, 2009

Celsum Technologies is offering a service to design and construct bespoke electro-mechanical machines for special purposes.

It recently delivered a test rig, featuring electrical switchgear, precision-welded stainless steel, laser-cut panels and a welded tubular frame to DSTL (Defence Science and Technology Lab).

It also built: a special high-pressure, high-speed, remote-control capillary extrusion rheometer for research into energetic materials; a small capillary extrusion rheometer for De Montfort University; hyperbolic-profile extrusion dies for an oilfield research project; and a combined laser micrometer and infrared pyrometer rig, complete with software, to Washington State University in the US.
