A Celsum Technologies product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Sep 16, 2009

Celsum Technologies has added single-axis, current-loop accelerometers to its range of cost-efficient, strain-gauge based accelerometers.

The CTA103A-420 accelerometer is available with ranges of +/-2g through to +/-200g.

The CTA103A-420 accelerometers are packaged in an aluminium IP-65 sealed housing and are available with an integral screened cable or with a miniature multi-pole socket connector

It weighs less than 30g and is packaged in a rugged-aluminium IP-65-sealed housing.

It is available with an integral screened cable or with a miniature multi-pole socket connector.

The sensing elements are MEMS technology micro-machined silicon strain gauges with: a linearity of +/-0.3 per cent; a resonance frequency of 5,000Hz, with a measurement bandwidth, depending on range, of from DC to up to 1,500Hz; and an operating temperature range of -55C to +125C.

The CTA103A-420 accelerometer has an over-range capability of 4,000g.
