Control.com has a new partnership with the Control System Integrators Association (CSIA).

Control.com has a new partnership with the Control System Integrators Association (CSIA).

Together, the two firms are launching a new series of services that enhance interaction within the integrator community and build on that interaction to deliver manufacturers with a suite of fully supported open control systems.

Control.com is working with CSIA to develop a new web community for the association's members and other system integrators who are looking to enhance their technical knowledge and interact with peers and experts in the automation business.

The Control System Integrator Connection will feature technical discussions where integrators can ask or answer questions and share their expertise on such topics as PLCs, HMI software, and motion control.

In addition, Control.com is providing CSIA member companies with opportunities to promote their services directly to manufacturers through a suite of e-marketing programs delivered via the Control.com community.

Control.com will also be working with CSIA members to deliver Fully supported open control systems to the manufacturing community.

Developed in conjunction with Control.com's Open Control Laboratory, the new systems will provide manufacturers with a powerful set of modular components that can be mixed and matched to solve a variety of data acquisition, process control, and motion control applications.

Control.com will provide the open systems technology, including hardware, software, and compatibility testing.

CSIA integrators that have completed the CSIA "Best practices and benchmarks" registration process will provide on-site installation, applications-level development, and support.
