CTL Components has appointed Jonathan Green to be responsible for developing CTL's agency for the extensive range of encoders, electronic counters and process displays manufactured by IVO

CTL Components has appointed Jonathan Green to the newly created position of product manager, encoders and counters.

He joins the company from Stegmann UK Ltd, where he started as applications engineer and was subsequently promoted to regional sales engineer and latterly encoder specialist.

He is qualified as a Master of Engineering with honours in mechatronics.

In his new position, Mr Green will be responsible for developing CTL's recently acquired agency for the extensive range of encoders, electronic counters and process displays manufactured by German company IVO GmbH.

He is expected to focus particularly on IVO's lineup of absolute encoders, as this technology is now well established in continental Europe but has progressed more slowly in the UK.

Commenting on his appointment, Mr Green said: 'I am delighted to have the opportunity to promote one of the world's leading ranges of encoders.

There is great potential for the IVO products in the UK, and I aim to achieve a significant increase in their market share.'.
