Programmable encoder combines to different buses
CTL Components has introduced a new multiturn encoder which allows a single encoder body to be combined with a wide variety of different fieldbus systems according to requirements
Backlit versions are also available, utilising a choice of green, blue/green or white electroluminescent illumination or yellow, orange or red LED backlights.
The SC series consists of 16 different module sizes - ranging from 58.0 x 32.0 x 8.6 to 190.0 x 54.0 x 9.0mm - all of which use a 5 x 7 dot-matrix format with cursor and are capable of displaying characters in four different languages.
The devices offer an operating temperature range of 0 to 50C as standard and can also be specified with an extended temperature range of -20 to +60C if required.
