Encoders feature in findings
The IVO range of incremental and absolute encoders is prominently featured in the October issue of the magazine "Farnell findings for process, control and automation".
Farnell has significantly expanded its range of motion control products with the addition of a comprehensive range of German-built encoders from Wimbledon-based CTL Components, the exclusive UK agent for renowned encoder manufacturer IVO.
The IVO range of incremental and absolute encoders is prominently featured in the October issue of the magazine "Farnell findings for process, control and automation".
This new Findings magazine was first launched by Farnell in March and is aimed at engineers working in this market sector.
In addition to incremental encoders and absolute single-turn encoders, IVO also offers a variety of absolute multiturn encoders to cover most applications.
The company's flagship product, MultIVO, is a programmable shaft-mounting absolute encoder featuring an interchangeable bus interface design.
The two-part encoder consists of a standard body and a choice of plug-in bus covers for systems such as Profibus, CANopen or DeviceNet.
As well as providing a level of flexibility not found in other encoders, MultIVO enables inventories and maintenance costs to be reduced because of its separate sensor and bus interface electronics.
