Wiss M3R Metalmaster snips have come out the clear leaders in design qualification tests carried out by Cooper Tools, which compared the tools with other leading brands on the market.
The rigorous laboratory tests showed that the spring and pivot bolt on Wiss M3R snips lasted much longer than competitive products, and the serrated cutting edge was also second to none, completing over a million cuts before failure.
The Wiss snips also proved much easier to use, needing less effort to make a cut.
The unsurpassed performance of the Wiss M3R is attributable to a combination of special features including: a patented, adjustable clutch pivot mechanism, which distributes the load evenly on the bolt, thereby increasing life; a superior quality spring; precision blades with computer designed serrations allowing the cutting force to be spread uniformly, thereby reducing wear and increasing blade life, as well as comfortable security grips.
