CAD Schroer Group (CSG) upcoming road show will highlight groundbreaking productivity tools, including the MPDS4 Factory Layout software.

CAD Schroer Group (CSG) has underscored its commitment to Medusa clients by announcing a series of nine springtime customer days in a road show format.

The events will highlight groundbreaking productivity tools, including the MPDS4 Factory Layout software.

Four new subsidiaries in the UK, France, the United States and Italy have joined the group over the past two years alone, matched by significant expansion of the company's global partner network.

"In the competitive engineering solutions sector, we have worked hard to build on our strengths: our close customer relationships, our engineering know-how, and our products' unrivalled flexibility and automation capability", explains Michael Schroer, company founder and Managing Director.

"Our new road show format of mostly one-day events really resonates with interested but busy customers and we look forward to their active participation and invaluable feedback as we reveal our latest innovations".

CSG's 2007 customer days will focus on the Fourth Generation of CAD Schroer's Medusa engineering product suite, which offers superior design automation within a highly flexible systems environment.

This major overhaul of one of the world's most established CAD systems was launched in 2004, with the introduction of Medusa4 Drafting.

The next two years saw a complete revamp of all of the Medusa product modules, including its 3D and Plant Design systems, and the unveiling of ground-breaking new 2D to 3D technology.

CSG is inviting customers to come and share their experiences and impressions, and learn more about the company's future strategy, while highlighting some of its many customer success stories.

The team will demonstrate what's new in the latest releases (from 2D to 3D to Sheet Metal Design), and offer a sneak preview of what's to come in Medusa4 version 3.0.

Visitors will also see Factory Layout software, which automates the creation of 3D installations, complete with walkthroughs, from 2D layout designs.

"This system is aimed at manufacturers who sell their equipment as part of a complete installation - be it a packaging or bottling plant, or conveyor systems for airports", explains CSG's Product Manager, Mark Simpson.

"The application allows engineers to draw and place intelligent symbols in 2D, and automatically construct a 3D world".

"Designers can edit components in either environment, and even model the terrain of factory floors or external grounds".

"Factory Layout offers the optimum solution for each step of the design process, and the ability to use 3D simply and effectively early in the tender stage".

The Medusa road show starts with a two-day event in Northern Germany on the 24th of April, then tours Italy, Switzerland, the UK, Japan, Scandinavia, France and Austria before returning to Southern Germany.
