Cirrus Research will be exhibiting an extensive range of products at the Safety and Health Expo in Birmingham.

Cirrus Research will be exhibiting an extensive range of products at the Safety and Health Expo (Stand G52 Hall 9) from 9th to 11th May 2006 at the NEC, Birmingham.

With the new Noise at Work Regulations now in force, safety professionals should be equipped to deal with the new legislation in a cost effective but robust manner.

On display will be the range of sound level meters and personal noise dosemeters which have been specifically designed to meet the requirements of the new Noise at Work Regulations.

A summary of the instruments designed for Noise at Work measurements that will be on show include the following.

The CR:262 and CR:264 sound level meters provide safety officers will a simple, easy to use instrument that provide the functions required by the Noise at Work Regulations.

The instruments have been designed to be as simple as possible to use while still meeting the high specifications demanded of a modern sound level meter.

The data logging CR:800B Series provide a step up from the basic CR:260 instruments and allow the safety professional to download measurements to a PC and produce easy to understand reports and print out the noise measurement information.

The CR:800B instruments can also be used for environmental noise measurements.

The CR:110A doseBadge personal noise dosemeter continues to be the ideal tool for the assessment and measurement of noise exposure of both mobile workers and employees whose exposure varies throughout the working day.

The new CR:110A version of the doseBadge is now shipping with the new dBLink3 software which gives the user a quick and simple way to gather the noise measurement data and produce concise reports.

The new CR:110AIS intrinsically safe version of the doseBadge is now shipping.

This version of the doseBadge has both ATEX and EEx certification and is the smallest noise dosemeter available with ATEX certification.

Following requests from both existing and new customers, Cirrus Research has introduced a range of safety officers' noise measurement kits.

These consist of a sound level meter kit and a doseBadge noise dosemeter kit.

By combining both of these measurement tools into a single system, the Safety Officer can cover almost every noise issue quickly and easily.

These safety officers' noise measurement kits can be provided with a range of different sound level meters and noise dosemeters to suit the needs of the user.

Throughout 2006, Cirrus Research will be continuing its successful one day noise measurement workshops which will cover the new Noise at Work Regulations as well as noise measurement techniques and guidelines.

UK Sales Manager, Gill Cussons, comments: "These one day workshops will help those involved in noise measurement and noise control to have a firm understanding of the changes in the regulations and how they can be prepared to meet these new challenges".
