Arran Controls actively promotes the benefit of containerisation to the customer and used this technique successfully to meet an order from Eastern Europe for a containerised package sub station
This offers Cutler-Hammer customers their quickest start-up ever, whatever the application.
The SVEngine feature of the new range of drives can also be used to quickly develop custom applications for the drives, which enables customers to cater for even the most complex applications.
The drives are available from 0.75kW to 1000kW at 380/440 volts, and will be offered through Cutler-Hammer's extensive network of system builders, who will provide full implementation and support services.
The SV9000 range features smooth low-speed performance and stator flux control to provide high torque for starting, accelerating and accommodating momentary overloads.
The SV9000 drives also feature as standard the highly functional yet simple to use SVMulti-line control panel, which is consistent over the entire product line.
Personnel need only learn how to use one SV9000 control panel to operate any SV9000 drive.
The unit can be drive or door mounted to provide maximum flexibility.
The drives can also be programmed, configured and monitored through a PC, and the control panels remotely mounted via an RS232 cable, providing users with significant savings in time and effort.
The SV9000 range connects to multiple communications networks, including DeviceNet, Profibus DP, InterBus-S, ModBus-RTU and LonWorks.
SV9000 Series drives are shock and vibration-resistant, meet CE, UL and cUL requirements, provide Windows-based software programming and are offered with V/Hz or Sensorless Vector standard, or closed-loop vector settings.
Available in a complete range of enclosure styles - chassis (IP00 and IP20), NEMA 1 (IP21), and NEMA 12 (IP54), the SV9000 drives are also compact in design and easy to install, either vertically or horizontally.
