Calibration Dynamics has available a portable multifunctional, multivariable calibrator for use on and off site The Scandura B-20 can perform various electrical simulations and measurements, as well as making temperature, vacuum and pressure evaluations

It is housed in an IP54 rated enclosure with integral lid and storage compartment.

This product provides simultaneous generation and measurement with accuracy figures down to 0.03% on temperature or up to 0.01% on pressure (range dependent).

Physical values that can be measured and simulated are pressure, voltage, current, resistance and temperature by resistive probes, thermocouples and frequency signals.

Features include mA, V, mV, RTDs, TCs, ohms, frequency pulse, upload and download of calibration procedures, and a pressure capability to 700bar.

Powered by rechargeable NiMH batteries and incorporating a large backlit high-contrast graphic display, it has a storage capability to allow the editing of individual test reports either directly or to a printer or PC.

Measuring 290 by 180 by 180mm and weighing 6kg, it is portable and can perform many functions achieved by a calibration laboratory in the field.

Intrinsically safe models with Atex approvals to EExia IIc T4 are available for use in hazardous areas.

Applications are in the process, engineering, laboratory and manufacturing industries.
