CSE Industrial Electrical Distributors has invested in upgrading its IT infrastructure in an effort to deliver even better customer service to its clients The upgrade was in two stages: first a permanent Internet link between its Bourne End and Southampton warehouses; and secondly an upgrade to the accounts/stock system, meaning all stock levels can be monitored and used by both branches

John Le Grys, Managing Director commented saying: "Because we have been a strong adopter of the Internet, our business has moved from being purely a local supplier to national and increasingly international supplier.

This means we have to be able to react quicker - which is what this investment enables us to do".

Le Grys went on to say: "This software upgrade also allows us to communicate with prospects and customers more effectively through the Internet - something that is now essential with the dispersion of customers around the world".

In addition, the system will eventually provide a more efficient method of dealing with suppliers by improving their ability to fulfil client stock requirements through EDI links rather than the need for human intervention.

CSE chose Sureline to provide the 24 x 7 permanent Internet connection and an upgrade to its existing MOSS ERP software.
