Cyco Software is showing off its AutoManager Meridian and AutoManager TeamWork document management software this week at the SolidWorks World 2002 Conference in Las Vegas.

In a strategic move made mid last year, Cyco chose to support all major CAD applications, including SolidWorks.

Cyco's AutoManager TeamWork, its affordable workgroup document management package, fully supports SolidWorks among other leading CAD packages.

Upcoming releases of Cyco's flagship product, AutoManager Meridian, will feature support for SolidWorks as well.

Cyco is currently in the final phase of obtaining the SolidWorks Gold Partner status.

Cyco recognises the revolution that is taking place with engineers jumping from 2D to 3D design techniques.

While 3D design tools boost drafting efficiency in the long-term, initially the design department suffers from a serious loss of productivity.

Designers get lost in the third dimension when trying to cope with the new methods.

Cyco's AutoManager software takes the headache out of that transformation process.

Its software offers one, single document environment that manages the change process and integrates new 3D and existing 2D data.

Ramon Burke, Sales and Marketing for Cyco EMEA, says: "Our AutoManager solutions fill a clear void.

The MCAD market is struggling with the transition to 3D".

He continues: "Our AutoManager software helps designers to easily manage 2D and 3D data in one system and it enables them to continue business as usual".
