Eric Bouwer has been appointed President and CEO of Cyco Software.
Eric Bouwer has been appointed President and CEO of Cyco Software.
Bouwer will assume responsibilities from Martijn Janmaat, who has led Cyco on an interim basis since May 2001.
Bouwer brings many years of executive management experience to Cyco Software.
He drove successful sales and marketing initiatives with IT companies such as Stratus Computers and Intergraph Corporation in the early Nineties.
After that Bouwer was named Managing Director of NCR Corporation for the company's North European service operation, creating business opportunities focused on market, product and value.
Most recently, Bouwer was ICT Director with Stork, a large European engineering conglomerate.
Cyco Software has undergone a yearlong transition and organisational streamlining that has resulted in strong profit earnings for the first quarter of 2002.
Under the interim leadership of Martijn Janmaat, the company has dramatically changed its business strategy to take advantage of emerging document management opportunities in the facilities management, process, utilities, telecom, and ERP/MRP markets with flagship solution AutoManager Meridian.
Cyco is also set to revive its existing installed base in the departmental PC-CAD environment with its new workgroup solution, AutoManager TeamWork Martijn Janmaat, departing interim CEO, said: "I have truly enjoyed working together with the Cyco team, our clients and partners in providing powerful, integrated document management solutions.
