Cyco Software has revealed details of its upcoming AutoManager Publishing Module for Collaborative Web Engineering Solutions, including Autodesk Streamline, bom.com, Open Text, Netvendor and others.
Cyco Software has revealed details of its upcoming AutoManager Publishing Module for Collaborative Web Engineering Solutions, including Autodesk Streamline, bom.com, Open Text, Netvendor and others.
This module enables manufacturing groups to add full document workflow, control and management to their web-based collaboration platform, boosting secure, real-time and worldwide exchange of data across the enterprise and supply chain.
Companies worldwide are driven to connect their supply chain into the product development, manufacturing and maintenance process to increase competitiveness, reduce time to market, manage product changes, organise product definitions and control the cost of the manufacturing process.
However, in this process companies encounter, difficulties when dealing with a global and complex supply chain and a lack of procedures and control of digital design data.
Eric Bouwer, Cyco Software CEO, enthuses, "Our AutoManager Publishing Module enables companies to deal with the challenges of a complex, global supply chain in their product development and asset maintenance operations".

Cyco's AutoManager Publishing Tool also connects AutoManager Meridian to Autodesk Streamline to deliver a managed worldwide collaboration solution combining controlled changes of design data in local engineering teams with early involvement of the extended design team to make better products faster.
The publishing module delivers: scheduled automatic publishing of released data between the engineering vault in AutoManager Meridian and Autodesk Streamline; rendition of documents to ZGL/DWF/PDF using leading Autodesk and Adobe technologies; and automatic rendition of modified documents and related assembly documents when needed (re-rendering an assembly when parts change).
