Servosoft expands gearbox capabilities

A Control Eng product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Jul 22, 2009

Working closely with Stober's head office in Germany, Servosoft has expanded its gearbox capabilities by adding gear motors and support for Stober's full range of gearbox sizing requirements.

The gearbox shaft loads form adds new charts for axial, radial and tilting moment loads, showing the maximum and nominal ratings as well as the application profiles.

These charts allow engineers to visualise key shaft load operating points with respect to the rated values and make intelligent design decisions.

The Servosoft database continuously updates, and now contains more than 38,500 products.
