Comark offers Enduratouch FX for wet environments

A Comark Corporation product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Aug 12, 2009

Comark's Enduratouch FX unit is suitable for wet environments where process splashing, spraying or high-pressure washdowns occur.

Designed for harsh factory floor environments, the NEMA 4X unit is sealed against the elements, is corrosion resistant and is constructed out of 304 stainless steel.

The system is suitable for applications in food-and-beverage production, warehouse packing and pharmaceutical processing.

Features include a 15in (381mm) or 17in LCD with an optional resistive touch screen or a polycarbonate shield, Celeron and Pentium M, Atom or Core2 Duo processing power, system memory up to 4Gb, high-temperature hard drives, solid-state flash drives, onscreen keyboards and multiple mounting options.

The front-access design facilitates access to the computer's components, a low MTTR and implementation flexibility.

As a companion to the Enduratouch line, Comark has also introduced a stainless-steel NEMA 4X printer enclosure.

The enclosure is compatible with most industrial label printers (including Sato, Datamax and Zebra) and can be mounted to a wall or within a production line.

The slanted roof makes the product suitable for washdown environments.
