IES SpA, manufacturer of photoelectric sensors, safety devices and temperature controllers, enters into the new Millennium with the trademark Datasensor.

Datasensor was created to re-focus the promotion of sensors, especially photoelectric sensors, into the automation marketplace.

The new Datasensor brand, which will progressively replace the Datalogic Sensor and More logo, recalls 28 years of experience and excellence in the sensor industry.

The Datasensor name will also be used to identify its three new European subsidiaries in Germany, France and the United Kingdom.

Together with its leadership in the Italian market, IES can today be proud of being one of the leading European manufacturers of components for industrial automation.

In order to provide a total solution for the automation industry, Datasensor offers a variety of complementary products including rotary encoders and bar code readers.

Many strengths are exhibited by IES including its efficiency, flexibility, investment in new process technologies and the development of innovative products.

Its ability to meet new application and quality standards enables the company to fulfil the demands of its customers.

Products are sold in Italy through the sales office in Bologna and throughout the world by the Datasensor subsidiaries, their distributors and private label agreements.
