DSL's PPC-740X Pentium 4 Panel PC touchscreen unit is rugged enough for the harshest industrial environments.

Combining user-friendly accessibility with industrial versatility, DSL's PPC-740X Pentium 4 Panel PC touchscreen unit provides "hands-on" control, protection against both airborne and liquid ingression (IP65/NEMA4) and is rugged enough for the harshest industrial environments Containing the features and ability to meet industrial standards that usually mean high costs, the PPC-740X is economically priced to enable its performance to be used in a wide variety of applications

Fully built to client specs, with options such as CPU, RAM and optional storage upgrades, the unit can be provided with a variety of HDDs, or for applications where reliability is particularly important, entirely Flash based.

Additional functionality of the PPC-740X is achieved by a CD-ROM/CD-RW/DVD-RW and up to three PCI expansion slots.

DSL can provide turnkey functionality via its OS pre-installation service, including Windows XP Professional (Home Edition also available), or most recently with Windows XP Embedded.

For production, the PPC-740X can be supplied with pre-installed client application code so that the unit is truly ready to ship from the box.
