Danfoss Drives is introducing three new models to its popular family of VLT 2800 Series drives.

The VLT 2880 provides 15 HP, the VLT 2881 provides 20 HP, and the VLT 2882 provides 25 HP, all at 380-480 VAC.

A new frame size allows these models to meet NEMA 1 as standard.

The VLT 2880 and 2882 feature two conduit entrance-grounding plates to meet NEC trade size conduit or metric wire plug installation requirements.

VLT 2800 Series drives provide enhanced features for superior performance.

They include Hand-Off-Auto functionality for simple control, harmonic suppression in accordance with the latest standards for distortion reduction, and improved RFI design for easy operation.

They also include a DeviceNet serial communication option and an Adaptable Package Unit program for enhanced functionality.

Danfoss Drives is a leading producer of precision mechanical and electrical components and intelligent "mechatronic" devices.

Danfoss created the VLT" name when they introduced the world's first mass-produced AFD in 1968, and the name has set the standard for quality drives ever since.
