Danfoss Drives has developed a new range of Decentral individual drive and integrated drive solutions.

Danfoss Drives has developed a new range of Decentral individual drive and integrated drive solutions They feature rugged construction to withstand challenging application environments, while reducing downtime and service time to an absolute minimum

These solutions are particularly well suited to conveyor applications in the automotive, food, beverage and material handling industries.

They are available with a power range of 0.25 to 10HP, three-phase 380-480V AC.

They support RS485, Profibus, DeviceNet or AS-i bus communication protocols.

Decentral individual drive solutions can be used on any standard AC motor, or can be mounted on the wall or application equipment.

They include the VLT Decentral FCD 300 and DMS 300 Decentral motor switch, both with IP66/NEMA 4X protection for detergent or high-pressure cleaning.

The DMS 300 includes integrated soft-start and soft-stop functionality for applications where fixed speed operation is required in either the forward or reverse direction.

Decentral integrated drive solutions consist of an optimally matched frequency convertor and high efficiency motor that offer minimum mounting and adaptation costs.

They include the VLT' DriveMotor FCM 300 with IP55 protection (IP56 and IP66 optional) and Eta Solution series K.

The FCM 300 features a preset adaptation between the drive and motor for precise, energy efficient control.

The Eta Solution series K are compact solutions with infinite speed control.

Both are compliant to EMC standards.

Decentralised motion control meets the ever-growing demands for maximum installation flexibility, and reduced lead-time and commissioning of industrial machinery.

Decentralisation lowers installation costs, makes cabinet space nearly obsolete, and significantly reduces cabling expenses.

It also facilitates quick and easy service, retrofitting and upgrading.

Additional features include improved utilisation of narrow space and easy reconfiguration of production flow.
