New compact enclosures provide a complete control solution in nearly any industrial, HVAC or water and wastewater application that uses variable frequency drives for machine and process control.

Danfoss North America Motion Controls has released a new compact standard enclosure for 125 to 350hp VLT Series drives.

These compact enclosures provide a complete control solution in nearly any industrial, HVAC or water and wastewater application that uses variable frequency drives for machine and process control.

Standard panels are now available for drives in the range from 125 to 350hp at 460V, and 90 to 250kW at 380V.

Two heights of enclosures are used, one for less than 200hp, the other for 250, 300 and 350hp.

All models are designed for wall mounting with bottom conduit mounting.

An optional pedestal base allows floor mounting and raises the unit approximately 8in.

All of the most popular panel options are included in the new standard configuration.

Such features include fused/disconnect panel and bypass panel configurations, fire mode and run permissive mode, two and three contactor bypass, and common start/stop functionality.

Additional features include: undervoltage relay; dual motor selection; various fuse and disconnect options; control switches; indicator lights; NEMA 1 and 12 configurations; a dv/dt filter and 3% reactor, among others.
