An established manufacturer of compressors, since using the dataTaker DT505 data acquisition unit the amount of paperwork previously generated has been greatly reduced

An established designer and manufacturer of a wide range of innovative compressors continually carries out tests of pressure, temperature and voltage outputs.

The company required an effective method of improving efficiency of data retrieval and assessing performance by providing an instant visual image of the records taken.

Since using the dataTaker DT505 data acquisition unit the amount of paperwork previously generated has been greatly reduced and the information they need can be instantly retrieved, discussed and interrogated making operations even more effective.

The company has found that storing the data on electronic media is efficient, plus knowing there is technical support is a big advantage.

The dataTaker DT505 is a general purpose data logger with many features; 30 single-ended analogue channels, 4 digital channels, and channel expansion port.

Sensor support includes 11 thermocouple types, 4 RTD types Pt, Cu, Ni, thermistors and bridges.

Up to 32 dataTakers can be networked.

dataTakers can do more than log data and can benefit all types of businesses, large or small, who require information to run efficiently.

DeLogger Pro Windows-based software runs with Windows 95, 98 and NT, and can be set up to suit each individual application.

Facilities include scanning of sensors, making instantaneous measurements forwarded to a computer in real time.

Sensors can be calibrated and statistical and other calculations made such as average, standard deviation, maximum or minimum.

Full dataTaker DT505 literature with technical specification is available.
