Cable installation rods go further
A new set has been added to the CableDart lineup of cable installation rods which will assist the installer aiming for longer cable runs.
The unit features a standard 512Mbyte or 2Gbyte SD Card and a high capacity battery that will run for four hours continuously after being charged for two hours.
With a shaft diameter of only 5.5mm the unit can easily get through the spark plug hole of any petrol or diesel engine.
Currently the unit is supplied with a standard shaft length of 1m, but 2, 3, 10 and 30m units will become available shortly.
The shafts are also interchangeable with a push fit and screw retention connector.
The inspection shaft can be replaced or upgraded if new applications are identified.
The image is displayed on a 3.5in TFT hand held monitor which is protected by oil and scratch-resistant tempered glass.
The video out facility also allows images to be displayed in real-time or played back later.
Recorded images can also be downloaded through the mini USB connector to a PC to be used in reports or stored for future reference.
