Manufacturers queue up to exhibit at
open day
The automation open day to be held on 24th June at Deescan's production facilities near Wrexham, North Wales, draws ever nearer.

This preserves the user's initial investment by allowing the system to grow with requirements, without having to modify any of the existing hardware or software.
Also on show will be products such as the latest HMIs, inverter drives, PLCs and servomotor equipment together with a working demo of a Movemaster robot.
Fortress Interlocks will be showcasing products from the AS-interface range and also the new mGard modular trapped key interlocks including the DM (door module) and XM (key exchange) products.
Pilz will show the PNOZmulti multifunctional, freely configurable and modular safety relay.
Designed for all safety applications such as E-stop, safety gate and light barrier monitoring etc.
Erwin Sick will show vision systems, barcode readers, photoelectric sensors and the Safety Proximity Laser Scanner.
From Guardscan, the latest development of the B series/Solo light curtain is a versatile development of the highly successful Guardscan range of B series light curtains and is designed to be integrated with ASi systems.
IAI will exhibit the IX Series, its latest SCARA robot.
The company will also be showing the established RoboCylinder equipment and the new low cost version-ERC, with all the reliability of its big brother but with fewer features.
Lutze will show Ethernet hubs, signal conditioners, power supply units and control cable.
Pepperl+Fuchs will be exhibiting products from its extensive range of AS-interface and AS-interface Safety at Work equipment.
Also on show will be the very latest from its factory automation range including ultrasonic, inductive and capacitive sensors.
Red Lion will be exhibiting the PID Modular Controller range.
The Modular Controller series offers a cost effective solution to integrating multizone PID control, data acquisition and I/O into PC, DCS or PLC control systems.
Siemens will be concentrating on ASi related equipment.
As the market leader, Siemens is well placed to work along side Deescan and LC Automation in supplying ASi based control solutions into the market place and welcomes the opportunity to demonstrate its the latest products.
From Tapeswitch, CKP/S1 safety mats can now be supplied factory fitted with the industry-standard M8 connector system.
Solo versions of safety mats and sensing edges can provide Cat 3 fail safe monitoring and are ideal for AS-interface Safety at Work applications.
Finally, Schmersal will exhibit a new range of hygienic control devices and indicator lights specifically designed for use in food processing applications.
The range includes pushbuttons, mushroom buttons, high and flat indicator lights with LEDs, emergency stop control devices and selector switches.
And of course as well as representatives from the above manufacturers, the experts from LC Automation and Deescan will be on hand to discuss any applications or project work.
