The latest version of the 3DxSoftware driver includes support for professional graphics applications that leverage 64bit CPU architecture.
As part of the company's commitment to optimising the human-computer interface for design professionals, 3Dconnexion has released the latest version of its 3DxSoftware driver, which includes support for professional graphics applications that leverage 64bit CPU architecture.
3Dconnexion's range of navigation input devices includes SpacePilot, SpaceTraveler and SpaceBall, and delivers productivity enhancements as well as improved performance and rapid response times when combined with advanced 64bit hardware and software tools.
"We are pleased to see that 3Dconnexion is among the early supporters of 64bit technology, so when new applications and CPU upgrades become available, customers who use them with 3Dconnexion's input devices will not suffer any interruption in their workflow", said Dr Jon Peddie, independent industry analyst and President of Jon Peddie Research.
"3Dconnexion's 64bit support contributes to the designer's ability to get the most from the power that the 64bit architecture provides for working with data-intensive applications such as 3D animation and CAD".
