Using 3Dconnexion's navigation devices, anyone designing in Inventor 2008 can benefit from intuitive and powerful navigation control of computer-generated 3D objects

3Dconnexion's line of 3D navigation devices is now compatible with Autodesk Inventor 2008 and AutoCAD 2008.

Using 3Dconnexion's navigation devices, MCAD engineers and architects designing in these applications benefit from intuitive and powerful navigation control of computer-generated 3D objects.

3Dconnexion's navigation devices simplify the control of 3D imagery in traditional 3D design software and in applications that incorporate 3D visualisation.

3Dconnexion's devices are used in conjunction with a tradition 2D mouse and are held in the free hand to simultaneously pan, zoom and rotate 3D objects.

The products are compatible with both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of AutoCAD 2008 and 32-bit version of Autodesk Inventor 2008.

Free drivers are available for download.

"The enhanced integration between our 3D navigation controllers and Autodesk's Inventor 2008 and AutoCAD 2008 applications seriously boosts design productivity", says Dieter Neujahr, President of 3Dconnexion.

"We are committed to providing workflow solutions that translate into time and cost savings from Autodesk community".

3Dconnexion devices can be used with Windows XP and Vista (Inventor, 32-bit; AutoCAD, 32- and 64-bit) and Windows 2000 (AutoCAD and Inventor, 32-bit).

The product line includes the SpacePilot, SpaceExplorer, SpaceTraveler, SpaceNavigator Personal Edition, and SpaceNavigator Standard Edition.
