Transmitters suit hazardous environments

A Delta Controls product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Mar 1, 2004

Analogue and digital high-pressure transmitters are rated to 1000bar for industrial applications, including hazardous environments and aggressive media.

Delta Controls offers analogue and digital high-pressure transmitters rated to 1000bar for all industrial applications, including hazardous environments and aggressive media such as sour gas, crude oil, pure oxygen and chlorine.

Delta's 387 and 2HT ranges can be supplied rapidly to existing specifications and approvals.

Bespoke engineered versions are available and lead times are short for either standard items or low volume specials.

Delta's model 387 analogue range is a compact, competitive alternative to large conventional transmitters with no loss of performance or accuracy (+/-0.15%).

It is self-supporting, and has stainless-steel wetted parts and an enclosure to eliminate the need for paint or additional protective finishes for applications in hostile environments.

The modular design permits the option of wetted parts in Monel and Hastelloy for Nace MR 01-75 applications.

Delta's Smart model 2HT range uses a thin-film diaphragm sensor, providing accuracy of +/-0.1% over a wide temperature range, reliable pressure measurement and long-term stability.

The transmitter communicates via the Hart protocol and can be configured and calibrated remotely.

Both the 387 and 2HT ranges have compact, robust stainless-steel construction combining long life with ease of repair and maintenance.

Also easy to install and adjust, they offer a wide choice of process connections.

Both models are intrinsically safe and explosion proof to Atex standards and are Factory Mutual listed.
