Intelligent pump to revolutionise engine cooling
Davies, Craig will launch its patented third-generation EWP electric water pump and electronic smart controller in May 2004.
The Generation III EWP incorporates an exclusive design long-life ceramic mechanical face seal.
The seal is manufactured from stainless steel and incorporates silicon carbide/carbon graphite rotational sealing surfaces with EPDM rubber body seals.
All internal parts of the EWP exposed to coolant are now 304 grade stainless steel.
The high-torque sealed-bearing electric motor has a 304 grade stainless steel shaft.
And the improved pump is now fully serviceable.
The company's confidence in the new product has been reinforced by undertaking the most comprehensive durability test programme ever conducted by Davies Craig.
Packaging has remained the same except for the addition of "Generation III with ceramic seal" to recognise this important product release and the adoption of the nomenclature EWP80 to specifically identify the maximum flow capacity of the pump.
The best news of all is that the price has remained the same despite the major upgrade of this product.
