Minister opens purpose-built plant
Davies Craig is now operating from its new purpose built plant in Altona, Victoria.
Davies Craig is now operating from its new purpose built plant in Altona, Victoria, which was officially opened by The Hon Tim Holding (Minister for Manufacturing and Export) at a ceremony on 28th August 2003 The new plant has almost twice the warehouse storage capacity and spacious offices enabling a much more efficient operation

Additions to the plant also include dedicated research and development and quality management facilities.
Along with the relocation there has been personnel restructuring within the company.
Ray Brown is now the Technical and Marketing Director.
He has had extensive experience with Toyota Australia and has recently committed to a permanent role as Technical and Marketing Director with Davies Craig.
He's been eased into the role and is up to speed with all aspects of the company.
Can Ertekin, Product Engineer, has recently finished a mechanical engineering degree at Melbourne University and is full of enthusiasm and exuberance for his new role in the company.
Ertekin will be responsible for product development and technical advice, and has replaced David Kosnar who has decided on a new career direction and ventured across to the UK for a working holiday.
His sense of humour and footy tipping management will be greatly missed.
