Open vision platform expands into new areas
Since establishing a presence in the United Kingdom almost two years ago, Scorpion Vision has made great headway into a number of vertical markets within the territory.
The website is a new online shop, focused on Scorpion Vision software and components.
Buyers will be able to research and identify the most appropriate version of Scorpion Vision software for their projects.
They will be able to purchase the software licence online and then browse for associated components such as digital cameras, illumination, frame grabber boards and even aluminium profiles - a commonly used framework for automation projects.
A partner programme operates for those businesses that use Scorpion Vision software and agreements are in place with some major FireWire technology brands enabling the site to offer wholesale prices to these partners.
For a limited time, the new site is offering Unibrain Fire-i FireWire cameras at half price to those individuals who register online.
The Fire-i is reckoned to be the best FireWire colour digital camera available for home/office applications.
Its superior VGA picture quality and lightweight housing clearly distinguishes it from other FireWire or USB cameras.
Discounts will be applied after purchase.
