Best ever half year for Delcam
Delcam has achieved its best ever first half sales and increased its profitability.
Delcam has achieved its best ever first half sales and increased its profitability Sales for the six months to 30th June 2004 were GBP 10.3 million, up 5% on the previous best first half sales of GBP 9.8 million achieved in the first six months of last year, despite the US $/GBP exchange rate weakening by 11% over the same period in 2003

"Despite the difficult times that continue to be faced by manufacturing industry in many of our key markets, an increasing number of our users are taking out maintenance contracts to ensure that they receive regular enhancements to their software".
Delcam has also continued the expansion of its reseller network.
Recent developments have included a move to larger offices by the North American subsidiary, the conversion of the reseller in Thailand into a joint venture, the appointment of additional resellers in China and the opening of extra offices in India.
Other highlights from the first half include the successful introduction of a new Professional Services Group that has already won some significant contracts and the receipt of a Queen's Award for Enterprise in the Innovation category for the second year in succession.
