Development team offers opportunity for graduates

A Delcam product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Apr 3, 2006

Delcam is looking to recruit extra developers for its PowerInspect program to speed the addition of new functionality into the system.

Delcam is in the process of recruiting extra developers for its PowerInspect program to speed the addition of new functionality into the system and consolidate its position as the world's leading hardware-independent inspection software.

The expansion follows record sales through Delcam's network of international sales partners during 2005 and the signing during the year of OEM contracts with leading metrology companies including FARO, Renishaw and Romer/Cimcore.

"Despite our achievements last year, we know that we cannot afford to be complacent if we wish to maintain our leading position", commented PowerInspect Development Manager, Etienne Rossignon.

"We need to expand our development staff to meet our customers' requests for further enhancements to our products for both static and portable CMMs, and for on-machine verification".

"We need high-level graduates with at least five years' experience in programming for either metrology systems or CADCAM", added Rossignon.

"PowerInspect is principally developed under the Microsoft Visual C++ development environment, with Visual Basic, XML and other scripting tools also used where appropriate".

"The new positions in the PowerInspect development team will provide opportunities for graduates with that background to join a successful and expanding group".
