Delcam will demonstrate the latest developments in aerospace machining within its PowerMill CAM software at "Making things work together", a conference and exhibition to be held by Seco Tools at its UK headquarters in Warwickshire from 26th to 28th September New functionality in the recent PowerMill 7 release includes a wider range of five-axis strategies for both roughing and finishing, three-axis swarf machining and parametric surface finishing, together with faster calculation times, improved point distribution and easier data management

At the Seco event, delegates will be able to join experienced engineers from some of the world's leading aerospace companies, including Rolls Royce, Messier Dowty, Airbus UK and Doncasters Bramah, as they present an insight into the newest trends in aerospace manufacturing.

Together with speakers from Seco, they will present their views on the newest machining technologies and processes, which are being used within current aerospace projects.

This three day event will outline how the "art of partnership" has been used to benefit relationships with key aerospace manufacturers.

It will show how close co-operation between the cutting tool supplier, the CAM developer and the customer results in sustainable improvements in production costs, strategy and quality and how these benefits can be replicated across the entire aerospace subcontracting industry.

This exclusive event will reveal how advanced tooling technologies and aerospace application techniques are helping aerospace manufacturers with process improvement throughout the world.

Compelling technical sessions and dynamic demonstrations will enable delegates to explore the latest innovations in aerospace manufacturing.

Each day will also feature an open forum where delegates will be able to talk freely with event sponsors and guest speakers in an informal atmosphere. Request free introductory details about products from Delcam ...
