The opening session will cover the requirements within three of the key sectors for composite materials.

Unlike many other areas within UK manufacturing, the composites industry is continuing to grow as the materials are used increasingly to replace metals and wood.
New applications continue to be found as the properties of the materials are developed, especially in the aerospace, automotive and marine industries.
While the opportunities are clearly attractive, both component manufacturers and toolmakers wishing to enter the industry must be able to meet the required standards of quality and consistency.
This may be obvious for safety-critical applications, including aerospace or motorsport, and for high-quality areas, like luxury yachts, but it is also essential for less obvious areas for composite applications, such as medical equipment, wind energy and construction.
The presentations will be followed by a buffet lunch, after which delegates will have opportunities for informal discussions with the speakers and to tour Delcam's toolroom and inspection facilities. Request free introductory details about products from Delcam ...
