Aimed at becoming the standard receipt printer of choice, due to its price/performance ratio, the TSP600 is being shown by DED for the first time at Leisure Industry Week.

This extremely low cost, high quality printer is ideal for any kind of application that needs fast, reliable mono or two colour receipt printing at low cost.

Outputting at 100mm per second with a resolution of 203dpi, the TSP600 is available in both autocutter and unique tear-bar versions and offers a two colour print capability.

Both 80mm and 58mm paper widths can be used and the printer itself comes in either a white or grey casing.

Featuring a power switch protector option, logo store, and near/paper end sensors, it can provide high-speed printing under Windows.

This is achieved due to the combination of a fast processor with 8Mbit Flash Memory linked with the new extra fast Raster driver, which is able to automatically scale output to 80mm.

The design of the printer also incorporates the "drop in and print" easy paper loading feature, eliminating any problems with fiddling and jamming which are often associated with POS printers.

The TSP600 series will also have options for wall and vertical mount fitments and a high speed USB interface in both serial and parallel.

The raster driver enables complex and more attractive receipts to be printed with no effect on transaction speed, and a 2MB Flash ROM with easy to use utility logo store is integrated into the design.

DED provides value added support for the TSP600 series, with sales engineers on hand to offer advice and technical expertise 5 days a week.
