DED is offering the NP-MMK2 upright 2" kiosk printer, which is ideal for applications where depth is kept to a minimum, a common feature in most modern kiosks.

Designed with a clamshell loading system in a rugged, compact housing, measuring 114mm x 100mm x 264mm, it is highly user friendly, allowing easy integration within existing equipment, providing end users with a short development time.

Characteristics include a fixed head thermal mechanism, integral cutter, interface, paper roll holder and metal chassis.

Utilising paper of 58mm widths, with a 76mm version expected shortly, the printer offers the capacity for a paper roll of up to 84mm diameter, and is capable of printing at speeds of 90mm per sec.

The printer operates from both 5VDC and 24VDC power supplies, with control codes compatible with Epson ESC/POS and offers Flash firmware to store logos.

It also allows standard printing of barcodes.

Conforming to CE, FCC and Class A standards, DED provides value added support for the NP-MMK2, with sales engineers on hand to offer advice and technical expertise 5 days a week.
