A first in the UK market place from Deva Electronics, the Deva 001 PCI Encoder Interface offers three quadrature inputs and fully integrated plug 'n' play drivers for Windows 98 and 2000.
The PCI bus enables simple installation and automatic configuration of up to six Deva 001 interfaces, supporting a total of 18 encoders.
The interface is compatible with all industry standard single ended or RS422 differential quadrature encoders and allows a maximum count rate of up to 10Mhz.
Further features include 32 bit counters, digital filters on all inputs and encoder fault detection.
A comprehensive software support package includes libraries and examples for modern rapid application development tools such as Visual Basic, Visual 'C' and LabVIEW.
Deva's common driver interface enables users to migrate their applications across MS DOS, Windows 95/98/NT/2000 platforms easily and conveniently.
A Renishaw touch trigger probe interface is standard making the Deva 001 a complete solution for manual Co-ordinate Measuring Machines.
