Measuring only 6.2 x 3.3cm, this small but effective interpolator from Deva Electronic Controls offers a cost effective solution for the interpolation of incremental sinewave signals.

The Deva 018 accepts differential or single ended sinusoidal signals and outputs RS422 differential square wave signals.

The maximum input rate is 250kHz and maximum output rate is 10MHz at 40 times interpolation easily handling axis speeds in access of 1m/s with submicron resolution.

The Deva 018 may be configured to operate in either voltage or current mode accepting industry standard 1V peak-peak or 11uA input, respectively.

Furthermore, user selectable interpolation factor and marker pulse phasing allows the Deva 018 to be configured to more closely meet application requirements.

Compatible with all of Deva's encoder interface and motion control products, this handy sized package provides a powerful solution for machine builders and system retrofitters alike.
