Renishaw interface on CMM motion control card
The Deva 004 motion control card, targeted at the co-ordinate measurement machine market, incorporates an interface for Renishaw's touch-probes compatible with models such as the TP20 and TP6.
The Deva 016-1UNI provides a position indication with basic configuration settings allowing the user to select linear or angular modes of operation with display resolutions ranging from 1 to 0.0001 units.
In linear mode a seven-digit scale factor may be applied with further optional scaling from millimetres to inches.
In angular mode the display may be configured for decimal degrees, minutes and seconds.
A seven-digit scale factor is used to weight the encoder counts and a separate line count setting allows the user to specify when the display will rollover.
Other features include centre find/datum facility and retained position during power off.
