Designed for use with Brown and Sharpe reader heads, the Deva 023-1SIN-BS1 reader-head preamp performs the necessary signal conditioning required for use with a Deva 018 sinewave interpolator.

Designed for use with Brown and Sharpe reader heads, the Deva 023-1SIN-BS1 reader-head preamp performs the necessary signal conditioning required for use with a Deva 018 sinewave interpolator This in turn expands the use of Deva's motion and measurement cards as a complete CMM retrofit solution for a variety of machines from manufacturers such as Brown and Sharpe, Tesa and DEA

The Deva 023 has a 15-way D-type connector at one end, which is pin compatible with the existing reader head.

The other end of the module has a high-density 15-way D-type connector that mates directly with the Deva 018 interpolator without the need for custom cabling.

The module incorporates four trim pots which are used to scale and offset the sinewave signals in the same way as found on existing equipment.

The trim pots may be linked out if they are duplicated on the existing cable.

This unique unit is available as a single item or as part of a specially priced retrofit package, which typically includes the Deva 001 manual CMM controller, three 018-1SIN sinewave interpolators and three 023-1SIN-BS1s.
