Program calculates motor/gearbox specs

A Delta Line Europe UK product story

Delta Line Europe has developed an all-new DC-motor calculation program.

Delta Line Europe has developed an all-new DC-motor calculation program.

At the conception phase, the main objectives of the new calculation program were to make it extremely simple to use, as well as very flexible and user friendly.

After the development, not only were these objectives met, with relatively simple torque-speed and voltage-current calculations now possible, but there is also the possibility to simulate graphically the thermal behaviour of the motor on a time basis, within ambient temperature parameters, as well as simulated heat dissipation under defined conditions.

The other important feature of the new DC-motor calculation program is the integration of the Portescap full-line standard DC motor and gearbox catalogue.

There is no need to manually introduce motor and gearbox parameters.

The user just performs a mouse-click and the product is selected - motor and/or gearbox with all important catalogue specs.

Lastly, the graphical working range recommendations gives the designer very valuable information about a relative lifetime expectation of the selected product within the given application environment.

And of course, the Delta Line Europe DC-motor calculation program calculation sheet is printable with all product, load, and calculation data on one single sheet.
