Latest updated version of the Det-Tronics X3300 infrared optical flame detector provides a unique combination of higher detection sensitivity and immunity to traditional false alarm sources

Latest updated version of the Det-Tronics X3300 infrared optical flame detector provides fire system and instrumentation designers with what is said to be a 'unique' combination of higher detection sensitivity and immunity to traditional false alarm sources.

These unitised multi-spectrum detectors provide a 'single-knock' fire system solution, with a single device able to replace the two or three detectors normally needed for fail-safe cover of an area in many applications, including offshore platforms, oil refineries, process plants and other buildings.

Automatic optical integrity check of all sensors ensures maximum operating efficiency and reliability, with heated optics maintaining optimal performance in adverse environments.

The detectors are supplied with a 5-year warranty.

Cone of vision and range have been extended, with enhanced detection zoning capability, although a compact size of under 15cm length and 8cm diameter is said to be less than half the size of similar but less advanced detectors.

Detecting both heavy and light hydrocarbon fires, the unit offers low maintenance and easy retrofitting, with multiple mounting configurations to suit virtually all applications.
