The Det-Tronics Turbine Kit is not just simple company literature, but a veritable "everything you need to know" multi-part guide to fire and gas protection for gas turbine enclosures.
This newly released guide comprises separate folders for optical flame and combustible gas detection and fire/gas system integration plus a special 10-page document detailing the proper application of gas and fire detectors, fire suppression and controls as a single total hazard protection system.
Examples show recommendations for placement of optical flame detectors to reliably detect fires before they can cause extensive damage and how to use infra-red gas detectors to detect hydrocarbon gases.
A configurable distributed control system can combine flame and gas detection, alarm signalling, notification, and extinguishing agent release into a single integrated fault-tolerant digital communication network.
