Leading connector manufacturer, Deutsch, has developed its range of Micro Hermetic PT connectors to feature a new jam-nut mounting option.

Leading connector manufacturer, Deutsch, has developed its range of Micro Hermetic PT connectors to feature a new jam-nut mounting option.

These connectors have an integral potting cup, rear internal accessory thread and external boot termination feature to cover all cable termination options.

This dedicated range of hermetically sealed fuel tank connectors provides a high degree of performance where normal connectors would fail.

The range features a stainless steel shell finish for improved corrosion resistance and is able to operate between temperatures of -65o and 200o.

Furthermore, the PT connector's glass seal can withstand pressure differentials of 1000 PSI without the loss of electrical performance or fluid leakage.

The resilience of the PT range is achieved through the use of glass to metal sealing in place of traditional plastic and elastomer inserts.

In addition, a Viton O ring provides a high standard of sealing between the connector and the bulkhead.

A titanium version for lightweight applications is also available.
