Deutsch has expanded its UK distribution network with the signing of East Anglia based Rockford Components.

Deutsch has expanded its UK distribution network with the signing of East Anglia based Rockford Components.

Rockford Components, part of the Rockford Group, has been operating for over 23 years in the defence market and has recently relocated to Rendlesham, Suffolk, into the 'mission support building' of the former RAF Bentwaters, USAF airbase.

The 6500m2 building houses personnel from its three former premises at Woodbridge Suffolk under one roof.

Rockford Components will take a full Deutsch stock package, including the company's Mil-C-38999 series of connectors and the RR series of pattern 602 connectors.

"Rockford Components is an excellent distribution match for Deutsch interconnection solutions", comments Deutsch Operations Director, Patrick Farmer.

"Rockford Components has vast experience in the defence components market, and excellent technical knowledge of military connectors.

I am looking forward to a profitable relationship for both parties, and our customers".

Steve Hayter, Rockford Group Commercial Director explains, "This new partnership with Deutsch will strengthen our ability to support the aerospace and military vehicle market, with connectors, cable assemblies and associated subassemblies".

He adds, "This distribution agreement is an exciting addition to the comprehensive range of services already offered by our group".
