DG Controls is launching the all-new IAS-E and T range of electronic sounders at the 2004 Hanover Fair.

The polycarbonate moulded devices now being introduced are either standalone sounders or combine-and-clamp-to units to create beacon-sounders.

With 32 tones selected by DIL switch, maximum tone sound pressure levels are in excess of 110dB(A).

Applications across the fire, security and industrial sectors mean that low current consumption has been a high priority for this new sounder range.

To ensure this is achieved, a compact re-entrant horn has been incorporated into the design.

Also, giving added flexibility of application, switching to a second-stage tone is obtainable by a third-wire connection.

12V DC, 16-30V DC, 115V AC and 230V AC versions are standard, and all units are complete within a UV-stabilised IP65 polycarbonate housing.

The design allows a choice of mounting.

By using the latest (patent pending) T Series housings introduced at the 2003 Hanover Fair, single or multiple sounders can be clamped together with a selection of beacon types.

By choosing the well-known DG E series housing, even domestic and office-style ceiling or wall fixing meets aesthetic image needs.
