DG Controls (trade name 'deegee') is launching a range of IP68-rated heavy-duty beacon lamps for industrial, fire, security, aeronautic, marine and specialist markets.

These G series models feature UV-stabilised polycarbonate and stainless steel materials externally, and a wide variety of signalling and hazard warning interiors.

The beacon lamps are IP68-rated, with user access rather than being sealed-for-life.

This allows easy installation and maintenance, and environmentally friendly long-term operation.

Choice of signalling is wide, each variety being in voltages 12V and 24V DC, 10V-100V, and mains voltages of 115V and 230V AC.

LED and digital technology are featured, with units giving static light, pulsed and revolving LED signalling using minimal power, but giving high-integrity warning with a long life - in excess of 100,000 hours.

Of particular note is the static red LED version that is currently employed on over one thousand sites world-wide as an aircraft obstruction warning device for telecom masts and wind generators.

Xenon strobe high-energy models give persistent and compelling warning, whilst rotating flashing models, with large long-life bearings and high-powered filament lamps, ensure sweeping light beams reflect off surroundings.

Static filament and pulsed light models complete the range, together with compact fluorescent devices for long-life and steady-state signalling.

Dome colours are available in red, amber, green, blue and clear, each featuring the thick wall section, optically ribbed or non-ribbed lensing, according to the signalling capsule employed.

A stainless steel guard and mounting bracket complete the product accessory options, together with latest technology xenon strobe monitoring, giving reassurance signalling and ability to link to process control, telemetry, radio link fault circuitry or other fault check alarm systems.
